Reproduction
We are a BEVA-registered artificial insemination centre, and our reproduction and stud vets are experienced in fresh, chilled and frozen semen artificial insemination (AI), as well as natural breeding.
Mares can be examined at home, or can visit our hospital for management under an AI package deal.
We carry out routine health screening, vaccinations (such as EHV in the fifth, seventh and ninth months of pregnancy), bloods and swabs of mares and stallions, and can also carry out infertility investigations in both mares and stallions.
We have facilities for frozen semen storage at our hospital, as well as expertise in embryo transfer and our laboratory is HBLB/BEVA-registered for CEM screening.
