Jo Greaves
Head Stables Assistant
Jo joined TCEH in February 2018 having previously worked for eventers Matt & Marie Ryan, and then at The Elms School looking after the students and their horses. Outside of work her spare time is taken up looking after her two dogs Gizmo and Custard, and horses Rhino and Yogi. She also has an interest in cricket having played for Worcestershire Ladies and more recently has got into Indoor Action Cricket, being selected for the England Masters in 2016 and the England Open side in 2017.
Charni Bastable
Charni joined the stables team in 2019. She started riding at the age of 9 and has had her own horses since the age of 11. Previously she has worked in showjumping, polo and livery yards and has her NVQ Level 1 , Level 2 and Level 3 Horse Care Management and Riding.
Outside of work she still has two horses of her own; Herbie who she's owned for 15 years and is now semi retired, and Freddie who she competes at British Showjumping.
Caroline Churchley
Caroline joined TCEH in March 2018 and after a brief spell away we’re delighted to have her back full time again. She started riding at the age of 5 and has had horses in her life ever since. She has worked with polo ponies, competition horses, hunters and at stud farms, as well as having run an equine swimming pool and livery yards. She was a finalist in the Kuster British Equestrian Federation Groom of the Year Award for her work at the Cotswold Hunt. Outside of work she enjoys walking and going to the races.
Ash Hinton
Ash joined the yard team in November 2021 on a full time basis. He has an NVQ Level 2 in Horse Care and Riding and has spent 25 years around horses, most of which was at a local Equestrian Centre prior to its closing down. He’s hoping to further his knowledge and experience by joining the hospital team, looking after the daily needs of our in-patients.
