Critical Care

Our premises include critical care facilities for both adult horses and foals. We have a team of resident veterinary housesurgeons and veterinary nurses who provide round-the-clock care, under the supervision of our senior veterinary surgeons. CCTV coverage may be used where continuous monitoring is required, such as in the mare when foaling is due.

When needed, intravenous fluids can be administered safely via special ceiling-mounted hooks. These rotate with the patient, allowing freedom of movement around the stable as required.
