Continuing Education Programme

From time to time we run continuing education courses for fellow veterinary surgeons, nurses and farriers. Our premises include a small formal conference room which seats 20–30 delegates, with full presentation facilities.

Periodically, we hold education events for our clients. Details of courses and client lectures are posted on our website.

Veterinary Surgeons

Our most recent course which Andrew Harrison ran in conjunction with BEVA, was on Sedation, Analgesia and In-field General Anaesthesia. We are hoping to hold another course but covering a different subject are in Spring 2012 but for all information on future courses please visit the BEVA website.

Horse owners

Our last client education evening was in June 2010. Andrew Harrison and Jim Green from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service run in conjunction with BEVA a training course for Veterinary Surgeons called Safer Horse Rescue. They delivered a fascinating and descriptive lecture to over 150 of our clients. Our next one will be in the Autumn with more details to follow shortly.
